Sorry this may sound like a simple question but the only wire on the driver side that I have not been able to find the purpose of is a pink wire with black stripe that runs from the ecm to the wire harness on the driver side firewall. I am not sure if I need to take the wire from the driver side and connect it somewhere or if I can just cap it off. Thanks-John

 

Most likly it is a switched 12V + wire. best thing to do would be to disconnect it from the ecm and check for voltage. What pin does it go to on the ecm and I will look it up for you to say for sure.

 

Thanks for the replies. I actually removed the ecm and am trying to determine where that wire comes from from the column harness. It will be good if it ends up being a switched source as I can then use it as the switched source for the relay. Thanks again -John
