What are these items?

Hello,
About have the 383 ready to crank over. Still waiting on a walbro fuel pump which should be here this week, then it is just drop the tank and change it out.
I have a few questions about sensor hookups maybe someone can help.
On the old coil there was a vacuum mechanism with connectors that ran to it. Do I need any of that?
I switched to all MSD with new coil, 6AL, pro billet dist.

I also deleted the AIR and EGR stuff which is what I think this picture is for.

And I found this unlabled on the passenger side. It has a connector like the temp sender with a black/red wire.

Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,

Maybe these are so easy or commonly asked that you didn't get a response? No offense, just surprised no one else responded already.

First pic is the EGR solenoid. Second is the EGR temp switch.

Not sure about last one, don't have it on my '88. Doubt it's AC, perhaps secondary fan switch connector?

Thanks for the response.
I figured the piece on the coil was egr related. I dont need it.

The connector is still a mystery, I have the fan switch, it is a dark green wire with a white connector, i am pretty sure.
Maybe this connector was never used.
My fuel pump arrived , so this weekend it should be running, I will see what sort of codes I throw.
Thanks for the help.

That last connector may be the fuel pump prime connector. If it is, it's never used, even for service. If you really wanted, you would use it to "jumper" the fuel pump relay by applying battery power to the connector. This would be used to test the relay in a no start condition due to lack of fuel.
