Car: 1982 Trans Am & 1982 Corvette

Engine: L-98 with LO-3 induction. 350 CFI

Transmission: 5 speed and vette has 700r4

Axle/Gears: 373's in T/A .. vette unknown

wiper wiring differences 89 t 91

I'm looking at a 91 firebird dash harness and the wiring for the wiper connector on the steering column has a few more wires than my 89 column. What can be done to fix this besides puting a 91 wiper switch in my 89 column. And what are the extra wires for.
