I honestly think alarms are a waste of money....
Immagine you hear a car alarm going off right now a few houses down from where you are....what do you do?
Maybe 10 years ago an alarm would have gotten peoples attention, but now its like you hear an alarm and you dont even think twice about it...
so what good is it?

true that, but if i heard the alarm going off right in my driveway id probably get up to look

i installed mine because i dont like the parking lot at work, i work overnights at a walmart

ppfht, wal mart , hahaha

(Sorry, i work at Target so i have to.... )
I'll be parking my car in the highschool parking lot as well (gotta get a torque converter before dropping the new engine and tranny in, lol), and theres no way i'd hear an alarm durring school, and noone would care anyway...
Thats just my personal opinion though, but ya might wanna check out some car audio sites for more opinions

thats why you get a 2 way alarm system so your remote goes off and you know its your car. DEI alarms are good, starter kill the typical stuff optional stuff like proximity, tilt, glass break.

check out directed.com look at their viper and clifford alarms.
