HI/LOW beam switch

My hi/low beam switch keeps getting stuck in hi and then instead of going to low, cut completely off and the when I flick it again, they go back to low. Why is this happening and where can I get the switch to fix it? Thanks.

the switch is located on the steering column near the floorboard at about the 10:00 position. there is a rod that runs down the length of the column to actuate the switch. see if that rod is loose and/or if the switch is loose. most likely, the switch is loose and a pain in the butt to get to. you'll just have to snug it up...
