Hey! I have question about a weird noise

I actually disconnected my battery last night cause it was too annoying to go to sleep.

There is this sort of buzzing sound comming from the back of the car, even when it is off. I think it may be the fuel pump. It kind of sound like the fuel pump when you start the car. It sounds like it constantly running.
Anyone have any ideas on what it may be, or comments.
Thanks
KJ

sounds the like the fuel pump constantly runs? that is odd because i thought that the fuel pump got shut off with the ignition, it does in my car. could possibly be the fuel pump relay. can u pin point the sound a little better? i mean theres only a few things it could be in the back of your car, try to get a better idea of the location...

It is really odd, I have no idea how whatever it is keeps running when the car is off.

Sorry, thats the best I can do for right now. I was having my dad look at it last night, but it was dark and stuff. So i'll have him look at it again when he gets home from work.

where is the fuel pump relay in the car located at?
If the relay was bad, would that cause the pump to constantly run?

well the fuel pump relay is in the engin bay, not 100 percent sure but i think its mounte don the drivers side firewall, could be passenger side, im not sure, someone else might be able to better answer that for you, i have no idea why the fuel pump would still keep runiing while the cars off. the first thing i would do is replace that relay,to pinpoint it i would just pull off a relay and see if the sound stops, if not plug it back in, then try another, i always use process of elimintation with electronics, but im not saying rhis is the correct way, but it wont hurt anything. its not your hatch pull down is it? i know they are funky sometimes.
