I'm stripping my T/A that has an 89 350 tpi motor and complete harness in it--putting it in my 92 T/A--same setup--89 350 tpi--the 89 only has 2 wires going to the fuel pump through the floor and the 92 has 3 wires going through the floor. Does the 92 have an extra ground? Will my 89 setup work using the 92 fuel pump?
I need help please!
How can I make it work? The 92 is completely gutted and I'm using everything from my 89 setup.

Actually there are three wires for your fuel pump in the 89 t/a. There is the pink wire going to the fuel gage, the tan/white wire going to the MAF sensor, ECM, & other locations; then there is the black ground wire located under the right hand rear seat.

 

ok--so on the 92 the black wire would be the ground wire? So I'd be able to ground it anywhere?
