Hehe...sort of. All that is is a connector and a resistor. I went under my dash, disconnected the orange VATS line from the ignition cylinder & bridged the lines going to the VATS with a resistor. $0.99 for the pack of resistors and now I have four left over.

Those have been out for some time now under different manufacturers and names. What they were originally designed for was to allow someone to be able to start their car if the key was not being read by the contacts in the lock cylinder. At least one or two members of the board have one of those or something similar hidden in their car for that purpose. I use a spare lock cylinder from a junked car and a blank key for emergencies.
