The car is a 92 Z28, 305TPI, auto, all power options.
Pic 1 is on Drivers side firewall
Pic 2 is in the mess of wires on passenger side.

Car also has an aftermarket alarm.

Pic 2. Orange wire with fuse is the question here. Car is non running and I plan to work on it this weekend.

 

Off hand it looks like the previous owner did a lot of non-innovative wiring on his own.

 

Do I see duct tape wraping a hose in pic one .

 

Yeah, I will definitely have to clean it up a bit. In person, there are really not that many wires that are messed up. The second pic I believe has something to do with the fan wiring(?). Is the first pic where cruise control modules go or something?. If someone has a 92 305 Z I would love a good pic of what is on the drivers side firewall. I am going to have to buy a manual and trace down the other I guess. It is a 10-12 guage wire, alot bigger then the others. A buddy of mine has a 92 L98 Z28, would the wiring harness be the same?

You will have to get a maual to finde out what you have . I now there is a map sensor on the drive fire wall . The big orange wire I would say it's not stock follow it to find out where it gose . Your buddys car should be simular .
