fuel pump power and negative wires

I took the harness out of the car, ( im going carb ) so i have no fuel pump relay or any computer wires left. But i want to run the stock intank pump. What wires would i use to get power and ground for the pump to work.
Thanks Mike

There is a tan/white wire that you can wire up to the ignition switch for power when you start the car. The pink wire is for the gage and the black wire is for the ground.

technically the pump should already be ground, so I just have to splice into the tan/white wire and hook it to a toggle switch or the ignition switch and it should run.

Technically you are correct the pump should already be grounded through the black wire in the harness. However since you asked about it in your post I mentioned it. Now if you want your gage to register the fuel in your tank you will also need the pink wire.

the pink wire should still be hooked up. I only took the computer and the wires out from under the hood. So the black wire thats on the tank for ground should still be hooked up and so should the tan/white.

So i just have to cut and splice power into the tan/white and everything should be ok lol
