Fusible links?
Well I'm just stumped as to why my car won't even bump the starter yet. Go put keys in ignition, go to on and try to start, nothing happens. Not even a click. Replaced ignition switch and starter solenoid. Both are good. I've got all the grounds properly put in place, and the starter solenoid is wired up right. But now I'm going back to what trickster suggested a loooong time back, fusible links
There are 2 fusible links goin to the starter. I actually JUST noticed that one of them had electrical tape for some reason. I guess that might be the culprit. Can someone here tell me how I'd go about replacing the fusible link? And where I could get a replacement? I typed "fusible link" into oreillys auto online and got nothing hahaha
Any help would be appreciated

If its your 84 I don't think it had VATS. Other obvious "gotcha" culprits are the neutral safety switch, and a dead battery. You test a fusible link with a multimeter, or a +12V test light.
