I feel stupid now........
Well, as you might know, I have been battling with wiring problems. Basically the headlights, headlight motors, parking lights, anything that has to do with the ACC fuse, and the instrument lights do not work. I've found out that the headlight switch wasn't getting any power. Well, umm I don't like to admit it, but I thought that the entire wire was the fusible link........so I just bypassed it straight from the battery to the red wire on the headlight switch. Well, I now realize that that was
so I am going to reconnect the stock wiring. Well, after i bypassed that wire, that got the headlights to work, but only the headlight bulbs.......... Would reconnecting the original wire, obviously replacing the fusible link, possibly fix this?? I know that it all worked when I jumped a wire straight from the battery to the switch, but left the stock wiring attached, before I bypassed the wire, so theoretically it should work, correct??? Hopefully??
I am really eager to get the wiring behind me so I can get underway on redoing the interior, and fixing the car.........So any advice would be helpful...... I have the wiring diagrams from the Chilton's manual, and the ones off Autozone.com. Are there any other ones that could help me with my problem??
Thanks for taking the time to help me out, I probably would have given up a long time ago were it not for TGO.........

One problem that I ran into with continually popping a particular fuse (I think it was ACC -- the one which powers the trunk release) was funny when I got to the end of it:
My lighter outlet was old and whenever road vibration jiggled it just right, the heater element would short and pop the fuse. Could be something so similar -- or does yours pop the moment you put a new fuse in?

My fuse isn't blown.......It just doesn't get power. I am going to replace the fusible link this weekend, and I'm hoping that will fix it. If not, any ideas as to where to start?

I'd start by grounding a meter somewhere on the car and testing each fuse to see if the entire block is powered. I've not seen the schematics for your car, but it sounds like you're dealing with more than one burnt wire. According to the 91 Camaro schematics, the ACC fuse has one fisible link running to the mains distribution for the car. Shorting it is a decent temporary troubleshooting step (but I'd short it with a 20A fuse inline -- just in case). If this were your only problem, then everything would have come online. Check the entire fuse block for power.
