Axle/Gears: 3.70 9 bolt
6 codes in 1 car (13,15,33,34,43,54)

i got this car a few weeks ago an have been working on it in my spare time. the car runs excellant, but the computer has these 6 codes on it. i know that some of these things have been replaced, but i'm not sure why there is still a code. can someone help me out here.

sorry, i forgot to disconnect the battery.


i know just have codes 43 and 46
btw, it's a 91 firebird w/ a 3.1

Your code 43 is for the Electronic Spark Control (ESC) and the coe 46 is for the Vehicle Anti-Theft System (VATS).

Axle/Gears: Economy gears..once again, WHY?!?
Youll need to run some tests on your detonation sensor(s). Might be 1 or even two on a V6, not sure. Check the grounds for them, and if they test good, check for proper operation of the ESC module. Someone should be able to chime in and tell you the easiest way to check it. Plus, the code could be from a case of bad gas.

i'm not sure how long the car was sitting, so i don't know how good the gas is in it. thanks for the reply
