Good-Bye ECM,TPS,VSS,...
Greetings 3rd Gen Brothren,
I am currently on Revision 4 on this '84 T/A code G F-Body that came stock with all the bells and whistles.
I will run either a non-computerized HEI or Hyfire IVC w/ Mallory coil & Comp 9000 vac/adv, Performer RPM, Holly 600 dp w/ Holly blue fuel pump.
I will run A/C, factory gauges, pw mirrrors, pw windows, pw door locks, pw seats, rear wiper/washer, rear deck release all of which are factory. There's the back ground, and the problem/s.
I am eliminating ALL elements of the ECM, however I know that there are a few things that "little"
gismo does that are really essential.
1.) Gone; Throttle kicker, ISS, TPS and all their brothers, sisters & cousins. Traced green wires back to 4 cavity conn. where it goes to the A/C compressor & to egine harness.
Question: I only have one wire left that goes to the connector (the one that has the little diode on it) plugging into the A/C compresor. Is that all I need??? (Connects to lt. blue wire in 4 cavity coupling leading back to wiring harness)
I plan on using a dashpot solenoid w/ relay & or switch for idle adv. when the A/C is on.
I'm also concerned about the Starter Enable Relay as well.
What other issues will I encounter???
???
Help!!!!
