knock sensor resistor

not sure if this is the right place but here it goes i wanna no how and what kind of resistor to put inline with the knock sensor so my loud exhauste wont mess up the knock reading

The resistor is used in place of the detonation sensor, not "in-line" with it. Your implication is that it would be wired in series, whereas the resistor actually takes the place of the sensor. IIRC, an'87 would require a 3.9K ohm resistor to effectively "fool" the EST into thinking there is a sensor connected, while reporting no knocks.

I wouldn't think a loud exhaust should set it off unless it's hitting the engine/frame somewhere and transmitting vibrations back to the engine.
