VSS Wiring Location Question
My car is an electrical mess, and Ive been trying to track down the exact path of the wiring from the VSS to the buffer. I got under the car today and the VSS wire wasnt even there
So I started pulling tape off the ECM wiring near the buffer to track down the purple/yellow wire, and it just looped back around to itself
Anybody know where I can start? What I would like to know is where the wire for the VSS starts, goes through, and ends. I appreciate any help, because this is keeping the car off the road due to inspection. Thanks.
Ive also done some searching on here and all I get is schematics that dont say where the wire travels through.

Try looking at pins "D4" & "E4" of connector C100 on the drivers side firewall. That is where you will find the purple and yellow wires for the VSS buffer box.

K thanks for the info. I did just that, and found nothing in the D4 and E4 pins. I didnt even find any yellow or purple wires! So while I was at it, I followed the rest of the buffer wires to their designated areas and found no problems there. So what I am trying now is a rig to have the VSS hooked straight to the buffer with loose wiring just to see if that would work, and to help fix my speedo and the other problems. If I can ask, how would you go about fixing my situation? Its really getting to me, Im just about to call quits and just have the car crushed lol (ranting out of frustration). Thanks
