I have a 1985 firebird and I plan on installing holley stealth ram intake. I must convert my large cap distributor (coil is sitting on top of dist.) to a small cap dist. (coil is a offside pack). Can I simply splice the four connecting EST wires from the harness to a plug that can fit into the small cap dist and simply provide offset coil with the ignition power, tach wire, and supply the connection from the coil to the ignition control module of the new small cap dist.?
