my gf has a 98 Camaro v6. it dosent have the remote control for the alarm, but every time you open the door with the key or not the alarm goes off. is there a way to disable the factory alarm so this will not happen? I was hoping some of you guys could help me out. I myself have a 3rd gen and am not very familiar with teh 4th gens. Thanks!!

I really dont know too much about the 98-02's. You can get a remote off of ebay for approx. $10-$15. Maybe its something you can disable with the remote, just seems like the alarm is on all the time. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. Just a few ideas but for sure, go check out camaroz28.com...
