Hi, my problem is easy, but need a second opinion. I noticed when I had the hatch struts on the hatch didnt close right, yet it caught the hook and pulled the hatch down, but leaving still a tiny space. NOTE: I also had to push more on the driver side closer to the rear spoiler to make contact with the hook.

Now when i took the hatch struts off, the hatch closed fine all the way down. So, im thinking a bad strut, even thow the stupid struts hold strong. I noticed something wrong with the end of the strut where the star srew bolts to the inner frame on the sides. It seems like one struts end is sort of busted. Its hard to explain but what you guys think? thanks for your time.

 

if you think its busted then replace BOTH.
