Power to gauges

Bought and installed these gauge faces
http://www.procarparts.com/store-det...91CM%2D7073RGX

However I was in a hurry so I kinda jerry rigged it and wired them t othe cigarette lighter (yes I know not a good idea), so now I got them disconnected.

Which wire, which color of wire, is it I would splice into to have them turn on together with the lights/dim switch ?
Basically I need to tap into the gauge light wire, which color is it ? The orange one ?

The gauge faces themselves don't have an on/off switch, just a blue/green light choice switch and intensity adjuster. I could install a switch but not sure about it.

No, it would be the gray wire going to pin "6" of connector "C2" on the instrument panel. Also, why would you want to include a switch in the circuit when it is controlled by the light switch anyway?

OK gray wire on pin 6 on connector C2.

Do I have to remove the gauges to do this ?

No, you should be able to just find the gray wire under the dash and splice it in. Just look for the gray wire that comes off the back of the "INST LMP" fuse on the fuse panel and splice into it.
