stuck in a vats problem

sorry for the repost on the vats issue but i tried to do the search. when i get in the car and turn the key nothing happens all you hear is the fuel pump and a click coming from under the dash. wait 20 to 30 minutes it will start right up.today i got in and it wouldnt start waited hours still nothing. got on and did a search and came up with bypassing it the only thing i found under the dash was a relay type of plug with a big yellow and small yellow, big green and either a black or brown with white stripe. you can remove a white clip that holds the plug together and the fuse like thing will slide out of the plug, IS THIS WHERE YOU BYPASS? and another thing when i turn the key over and hold this relat type thing in my hand you can feel it click on the inside

Yes that is the starter enable relay, however you do not have to remove the white pin and take the relay apart. What you need to do is remove the relay from the connector, then take a wire and place it in the openings on the connector for the large yellow wire and the tan/black wire. Do you have an extra set of keys and if so have you tried using them?
