Is there a cheaper fix for these light? All 5 bulbs are burned out and Chevy wants $14.00 a piece for them?

Do a search on the board, it has been posted several times that radio shack carries a suitable replacement bulb for a couple of bucks each.

I did a search. I went 2 radio shacks in order to get all 5 bulbs. I installed them am they work perfectly. all 5 bubs cost less than 1 at Chevy.
In case any else needs it the P/N is 272-1177.
Thanks again.

I hope you didn't touch the bulbs with your fingers. The oil from your fingers will cause a hot-spot and the bulb will burn out quickly. You should use a cloth to install the bulb. Clean off the bulbs with alcohol if you made the mistake of touching them to install.
