Door locks gone crazy!

The problem is, today while driving, both door locks started to lock and unlock on their own really fast, i thought i may be my alarm acting up so i unhooked it and i was still doing it even while parked with the car off. It wouldnt stop so i unhooked the battery and it stopped, any ideas on what may be causing this or how i can track it down. its drivin me crazy and i dont want somethin to get burned out or my battery to get drained.

Guesses? Corrosion/copper oxide in the membrane switches in one or both of the door panels due to moisture/rain. It's not uncommon. They can be removed, carefully disassembled, and cleaned.
