Clifford/Head Light problem

I have a Clifford Ace 300 alarm system hooked into my car and whenever I use the alarm system or my headlights they flip up and down for about 5 seconds. The headlights usually end up either partially or completely down so I have to manually raise them, when I use the headlights. I don't know that much about electronics and I don't want to pay for someone else to fix it. Thanks.

Ah. Another "professional" alarm/remote start installation. The people that do these aftermarket device installations typically either haven't a clue about what they're doing (just connect wire A to wire C, by the instruction sheet), or they aren't allotted enough time to do it properly. You'll rarely see soldered joint, properly routed, protected, and supported wiring, adequate isolation and fuse protection.

You may have to reinstall the system and disable the "headlight flash" confirmation feature, or apply that feature to the parking lights only.
