fuel pump wiring tpi to carb
can someone please tell me where to tap into the wiring for the fuel pump? I figured you tpi guys would no best. I have removed and sold everything tpi related under the hood (unpluged not cut). so where do i find the fuel pump wiring to setup a switch of some sort? the relays went with the tpi. I will be running the mallory regulator and need this info and yes i have been searching...thank you very much guys....ryan
You can install another relay in place of the one that went away with the TPI parts and harness, or use the oil pressure switch to power the pump. Using the oil pressure switch will be no different than a mechanical fuel pump with a carbed engine, since no fuel is delivered until the engine is cranked in either case. You'll want to fuse the supply to the oil pressure switch just like the factory TPI harness provided,

I'm not sure of the color rendition of my graphics viewer. Are those orange and green wires, or a red and green wires? Or blue? And tracers (stripes)?
I'm about certain those aren't the fuel pump circuit, either way.
