Just like the heading says. What size bulb is the fog lamp on a 92 Z28? Thanks.

Fog light bulb replacement
Don't know if you figured out the correct bulb yet or not; However, most Kragen Auto type stores carry a booklet in their headlight/Bulb Replacement isle. You can look up your year of vehicle and it will list out EVERY factory bulb number in your car. Some even list bulb upgrades. Hope that helps. Nitro

The problem was there was no bulbs in the fog lamps when I took them apart. Autozone (starting to hate those guys) didn't have any information on the size. Went to another auto parts store and the were able to help me. Was an 885. Thanks for all the help though.

RE: Fog Bulb
Sorry you had to go through that. I JUST got my IROC and It's got some of that missing & wrong parts stuff going on, and it can be a pain in the butt, expecially when you only get a smart remark back when you ask for help.
I'm guessing that if we checked, the replacement bulb manufacturer might also have a web site where we could look up the info before going to an auto parts store.
Oh, just in case you havn't already done this, I'd find a way to clean that bulb socket up as best as you can to be sure you have a good clean contact surface for the new bulb. I keep a tiny dremel sized wire wheel brush handy that chucks right into my drill, since those lower bulbs tend to be subjected to more moisture and corrosion than others.
Both of my fog lights are ugly and worn and I need to find out what the best/sharpest looking replacement set is available. Since yours is a 1992, do you know if your Camaro has different looking Fogs than an 88 or older version????
Take care, Nitro

Not sure if the fog lights are different on other year models or not. I think they are all the same though. The dremel sounds like a good idea also, will try that. Thanks
