I have an 89 gta, with the code 33 burn off relay. now i was looking and is that a relay on the firewall, or is it onthe maf itself? also, i was going to make my own cold air system using the stock tubes, just popping off the rivit on the clamp on the canister and find the right one to fit its size. someone said i need a maf thats made for cold air intake! does that matter on my year of car?

 

Code 33 = MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR CIRCUIT (GM/SEC High. Code 36 is for the MAF burn-off relay. The relay is mounted on the driver side firewall with the fuel pump relay and the MAF Sensor power relay.
