LED switch for fog lites

Hey guys....I have a 2 prong switch for my fog lights that I wanna change to a lighted one cause I keep getting out of the car w/the fogs on.My prob is that when I hook up the 3 prong plug I can get the fogs to lite but not the LED or the LED lights but not the fogs. Can anyone shed some light (no pun intended) on how to hook up this switch so that both the fogs and the LED light up?I run w/the fogs on during the day as daytime driving lights.

OK....lemme just clarify then.Power will come from the battery, the neg prong on the switch does this get grounded to the frame of the car?And the ACC prong on the switch gos to the lights? How do I run the wire on the lights, what wire gos where.
? I know I'm being a pain but I really dont wanna pay my mechanic $40 an hour to do it for me. If you can...please be patient and explain this to me like I'm a 10 yr old.

No prob, we all learn sometime.

Yea, you got it right on the switch. The ACC wire is going to be a 12V+. So that needs to be ran up to the fog lights, now basicly you just need to splice out that wire to run to both (+) sides of the light. Then you can just run the (-) side of the light to the frame.

Thats kinda how mine is setup, Except i decided to run my fog lights off of my headlights (so there always on when the headlights are on). I spliced into the Tan wire comming from the outside light, Installed a waterproof inline fuse, and ran that hot to my fog lights. Works great.

Thats another thing you should really concider. Fuses that is. MAKE SURE IT"S ON A FUSE!!. Lets say you happen to get the wiring right the first time, water or some other element could cause a short. I had a 91 camaro at one time, and the previous owner f'ed up the wiring BAD (my wiring harness was a melted mold of wires, could not be seperated).... and i was trying to test out something w/o using a fuse, and i caught my wiring harness of fire. I put it out real quick, but i had to spend the next MONTH re-wiring the entire harness.

USE FUSES! .. lol ... Good luck
