80 mph cluster upgrade to the 120 mph cluster

Question. I was lucky enough to find a 120 mph cluster to replace my stock 80 mph im my 86 IROC Z. Wish I could find the 145 mph cluster. The real question is when I upgrade to either cluster do I have to change anything in the transmition? like a speedo sensor? or gearing?

Thanks?

A TPI firebird will have an electronic speedo. Your 84 has a cable driven one.
