Headlamps FIxed... not quite
OK. i finnaly got the bushing replacements for the driver side headlamp in the car and every thing was the berries for about 3 weeks now it seems there is a gremlin in the works. The light is now choosing when it will come on for me or not. The only thing i can think of is is when i reconnected something came loose (like some debris in the connector) or there is a wire getting too old. the thing that is wierd is that it is only for the light that i fixed.

After you've confirmed the wiring and connector are OK, the next thing to check is the headlight control module. It is on the firewall between the master cylinder and the window wiper motor. A square black plastic box that has the word "GUIDE" molded on the cover. If you pull one from a pick-a-part yard be aware that the 1987-89 module is different than the 1990-92.

the problem is only on one side that is moody is it possible that there is something wrongwith the screw that takes the lamp up and down because i had a friend turn the thing on and off while i was feeling around and it seemedlike it wanted to work but it isnt. i'll still check waht your saying but im not sure if that is it.

Problem solved
i have fixed my problem in the headlights. when i replaced the bushings in the headlight motor i broke the screws on the top part of the motor, (those things are impenitrable, i tried to E-Z out them but broke one) so to hold the motor in place i put the motor on and held it in place with 2 clamps. Thats were the problem started, i had apparently put the auger that goes through to the cog just slightly out of line it was then making it turn hard therfore causing it not to move. So if anyone happens to have this problem with only one headlight this could be it. Thanks for the guesses though guys.
