Blowing engine control fuse
After some mechanical work, I was letting the camaro (350 with LG4 ccc-qjet) warm up to readjust carb/dwell etc. Dwell meters hooked up and she's reading steady while the engine warms then the rad fans come on and I'm ready to play with the mixture screws when the dwell meter goes to zero and the engine idle quality drops. M/C solenoid is not clicking and I check and the 10 amp Engine Control fuse under the driver dash is blown. Replace it and turn the key to on and it blows again before the M/C solenoid can click.
I'm going to hit it fresh in the morning and was hoping someone had some advice on what to check first. I had the valve covers off so all of the sensors to carb/etc. were unplugged then plugged back in. She ran for 15 minutes or more before the fuse blew as I had to adjust valve lash before adjusting the carb.
