I have a 91 Z28 and none of these things work in the car.I checked the fuses
it's fine.Would this be a bad relay ?If so where is itlocated? The car has a alarm on it and the power locks work with the key fob but not with the switches.I'm going nut.Help ,Help,Help
Thanks

The fuse in question is a 20 amp in the #11 location (third column from the left, third row down). Tes the fuse again with a multimeter, don't rely on simply a visual check. If the fuse is good then the fuse holder may be bad. Check it with a multimeter or test light. It should be hot at all times. There is no relay controlling that circuit.

The fuse is good, when I was trying to see if I could run a hotwire to the hatch release button and the fuse blew.
I think whoever put the alarm in screwed somthing up.I'm going to look under the dash to see if I can see anything.

Car: a car being parted out
Engine: blown up
Transmission: in peices
well did the alarm install error search turn up anything?
I would bet that if the locks work through the alarm button but no the factory switch they seriously messed something up.
If you tried to remote hot the motor (and you popped the fuse), you may have hit wrong pin or power surged the circuit.

don't think the problem is that rare,I wish one of them would wold read this and tell me what they did to fix their problem.
