Guys i been chasing a problem with my car for the year and a half i have had it. SOmedays it ran GREAT, others, particulary rain it would act like it started up and ran on 4 cylinders or so for a few seconds, then somewhat smooth out. Now, I was just wiggling my wiring harness around by the distributor and suddenly i heard voltage arc somewhere, and the car instantly died. Im gonna start digging into my conduit and looking for arcing, but my question is this, whats all the red wires in the one set of wires on the passanger side?

 

the large red wires on the pass side that come up from the starter are the power distribution (B+) to every thing inside and out of the car.

 

Ok when I said it arced soemwhere, what happend was that main orange power wire that hooks to the passanger side fender, it's fuse blew. So, can someone tell me what that wire hooks all into?

 

I'm not sure if this is the wire your talking about but maybe this will help you figure it out. I circled the one that i think is the suspect.
