Error Codes...
First off, this is my 1988 Camaro 350 TBI (which isnt stock) But has a Stock rebuild and a decent cam, nothing Stock or Hi-perf. has all emmision controls hooked up and working.(i think).... I get 20-23mpg city.. thats a fact!, its got a automatic transmission, 700r4, brand new from bowtie overdrives, had installed by a Chevy dealer about 3 weeks ago.. anyway,
I got 4 of codes,
12,13,23,44
I understand ''12'' is nothing... its because the car wasnt running.
however 2 of the three state that the oxy sensor is reading lean. and one of the 3 is Throttle Posistion sensor error..
Now along with these codes, I have been drag racing lately, best time was a 9.92sec in the 1/8.. and last night i stalled a few times in the line waiting to drag...
This morning i bought new Accel plug wire 8mm's, i replaced the old black 7mm's that looked like they were 18yrs old... also got a new PCV, the old one was stuck open.. i may have missed something... Oh, and while i was running around doing this, i stalled a few times.. The engine idles at .500rpm when its warm, 1500rpm when its cold..
After all of this, i didnt notice much of a change, so tomarrow or monday i am getting a new coil and fuel filter..
Oh yea! I have,
Raised injector pod 1/2 inch.
added a 14"open air element.
I believe thats the only Majior mods ive done, which was like 4 weeks ago, before the new tranny.. and it ran fine untill last night, and it started to stall..
Thanks for any help, Nick Hall

Well to start off I think you are running a bigger engine than the stock tbi was meant to handle. You need to get more fuel to the car.The stock setup was likely meant to handle a 305 so when you drop a 350 in naturally it's not going to get enough fuel.Either raise the fuel pressure, reprogram the ecm or get a different throttle body setup that can handle a 305.Also readjust that throttle position sensor, that thing has to be right or all sorts of havoc will result. Then go from there. The stock setup can't handle the changes you have made.

Sorry, typo up there,I meant to say get a tbi setup that can handle a 350.Sorry.

I'm more knowledgable about tpi's than throttle bodies but you need to either get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, bigger injector assy,or reprogram the ecm to pulse the throttle body injector longer to give the engine more fuel. The ecm still thinks it's running a 305,you need to convince it that it's running a 350.Like I said,I know how to do it on a tpi but throttle body stuff is a little more fuzzy on the exact details.
