87 Back-up lights

Car: 84 Trans AM (sold), 87 IROC, 09 C6
Engine: Lt1 in IROC
Transmission: 5 speeds
Axle/Gears: Moser 12 bolt tru tracker 3.42
87 Back-up lights
This may sound like a strange question, but does anyone know where the backup light wires come out of the body on an 87 5 speed? Is it the right side through the fender well, or thru the firewall on the large plug? I had sent my wire harness out to get it grafted to a corvette LT-1 harness........and it came back without the backup light switch plug.........any help would be appreciated. Pat

yeah I think it was a green and blue.........so if it goes in through the passenger side fenderwell, that means it ends up near the computer......thanks for the help........Pat
