temp sensor in heads, where does wire go?
I seem to have lost my wire that goes to my drivers side head, for the temp sensor. I may have inadvertantly chopped it off.... Where does that wire lead? To the passenger side, in that giant plug? or drivers side into the car?
It should be a green wire right? Any way to check it? connect battery and short the wire to ground and see if temp gauge pegs hot?
Thanks

any idea where it goes through the firewall? by the brake booster?
oh yea, and assuming I have lost my wire connector, can I buy that special kind of spade connector from GM, or should I /can I just use a normal spade connector? (hoping that I can find this wire...)
thanks

ther are 2 connecters to the right of ur booster that bolt to the fire wall using a 1/4 socket to release the connectors from the fire wall
one will goto ur headlights and horn and other BS up there now the other one will goto ur engine for starter and guages and charging
if you cant find the wire close to where it used to be you will have to get a wiring diagram and find which pin on the connector and trace it to the other side of the connector and then track it down
as for the connector a normal spade will be just fine, just try and get one that fits snug, or just bend it a lil to stay on
