Im just curious about a wiring issue,I would like to have my headlights pop-up when the alarm comes on and go back down when the alarm is off.Any good ideas would be sure nice.
I have a 1987 Firebird,with the 2-wire motors.

correct me if i am wrong but then they will flash like your parking lights would.....and thats no good .........your headlights motors will be going up and down, cant see the motors enjoying it too much

All you should have to do is wire in a standard (doesn't have to be time delayed) 30 amp relay. Tap off of the siren output wire (the siren output is a steady output, not pulsed) to use as the trigger for the relay; terminal #85. Connect terminal #86 to ground. Connect terminal #30 to a strong +12 volt source. At terminal #87 (NOT #87A) first connect a diode. Then run a wire from the other side of the diode and tap in to the positive output of the headlight switch. *** NOTE: THIS WILL ALSO CAUSE THE HEADLIGHTS TO COME ON; POSSIBLY CAUSING A BATTERY DRAIN IF THE ALARM IS TRIGGERED MULTIPLE TIMES.
