Pop up headlight alarm

Im just curious about a wiring issue,I would like to have my headlights pop-up when the alarm comes on and go back down when the alarm is off.Any good ideas would be sure nice.
I have a 1987 Firebird,with the 2-wire motors.

You can tap into the wire that goes to the headlight switch
with one of the “hot when sounding” wires from the alarm
thru a time delay relay. The time delay relay will
prevent the light doors from closing before the event is over.

All you should have to do is wire in a standard (doesn't have to be time delayed) 30 amp relay. Tap off of the siren output wire (the siren output is a steady output, not pulsed) to use as the trigger for the relay; terminal #85. Connect terminal #86 to ground. Connect terminal #30 to a strong +12 volt source. At terminal #87 (NOT #87A) first connect a diode. Then run a wire from the other side of the diode and tap in to the positive output of the headlight switch. *** NOTE: THIS WILL ALSO CAUSE THE HEADLIGHTS TO COME ON; POSSIBLY CAUSING A BATTERY DRAIN IF THE ALARM IS TRIGGERED MULTIPLE TIMES.
