E-brake light stays on

I semi restored the car over the winter, so i'm working out all the bugs now...
E-brake will only pull up, say 6 clicks, and holds the car. Car will roll backwards on a slight hill (my driveway) when e-brake is released, so I think it's adjusted right.

What controls my e-brake light? perhaps I missed a ground under my center console? Is it a wire directly on my e-brake pivot area? I think I remember a wire being connected to that...

Thanks

There's a switch on the brake lever inside the console.

The brake light is also controlled by the switch in the prop valve.

3 things control your brake light. Fluid level in the master cylinder, pressure in the lines, and yes the e-brake. If the connector is unplugged, the light will stay off regaurdless of e-brake position. If its happened over winter, check your fluid. I know it sounds stupid, but hey. If your pedal feels fine, it probably wont be this but there may be air in the lines or a brake line leak. Or maybe something is tricking the sensor, located at the base of the handle under the console, that the ebrakes up. All simple stuff, but easily overlooked

my pedal is very squishy, i'm going to bleed the brakes tonight I think. My fluid level is ok though. After I bleed it, i'll see if it stays on, then worry about removing the console to check that wire....
Thanks
