Trying to wire up alarm - HELP

Hey, I'll try to make this short:
A little while ago I bought an alarm (for next to nothing) from a friend of mine. It was orignaly on an 80s cavalier (don't ask me why) and is of the brand name Clifford. From what I can tell it was manufactured in 1999. I was told at the time it was one of the better ones and cost around 700 bucks (canadian). Heres where the problems starts.

At the moment there is no engine/tranny in the car, and other misc. engine bay parts are out. There are two "boxes". One is the main control panel, it is a rectangle that is about 2" by 5".. It has a sensitivity adjuster on it, an antenna wire and a bunch of spots to plug in harnesses. On the back it reads:

Blue 2 pin: Valet Switch Port
White 2 pin: Status LED

12 pin main harness:
orange: (-)ground when armed
white: (+/-) parking light output
white/blue (-) channel 3 output
black/white: (-) dome light output
green: (-) door trigger
blue: (-) trigger zone 1 (MUX)
violet: (+) door trigger
black: (-) chassis ground
yellow: (+) ignition input
brown: (+) siren output
red: (+) 12V power input
red/white: (-) channel 2 out put

STARTER INTERRUPT WIRES
black
starter interrupt, relay, NC
black
starter interrupt, relay, NO

On the second box there are no markings and it is about 2"x2".. it has these wires coming out from it:
18gauge:
3 black wires
1 green
1 yellow
1 blue
1 white.. the blue and white wires come together into a small white cylinder thing at the end(??)

12gauge:
2 black wires

Can anyone shed any light on this?? I need some clarification.
Thanks
