Dealer Goodwrench alarm system...

I have a 91 Z28 Coupe, with a factory/dealer installed Mr. Goodwrench alarm system. Over the past few months, the siren has become very quite. I went out to the car today, and nothing. No chirp, but it still funtions properly. Can I get get an aftermarket siren/horn to replace it?

I just think that after 25 years, the siren just has nothing left in it. I know thousands of Third Gens left the dealer with this setup (How many are left??). I would like to keep the original alam, although I know it doesent work as well as the modern systems.

Thanks.

Re: Dealer Goodwrench alarm system...

My '88 has one of these Goodwrench systems. This one on ebay looks a lot like it...horn body has the same lines in it, though the metal base plate is slightly different. Of course, you might be able to switch those.

I'd check power and ground first.
