I have all of a sudden lost all inside lights,(dome, etc)
nothing has been worked on but when i checked fuses , the fuse was blown, now when i put a fuse in it blows as soon as it touches the fuse panel connectors.
I have tried many times and the results are the same, blow a fuse.
where do i start to trace this short or what ever down.
this is a 1987 iroc-z fully loaded. electric everything.
ive looked around and see nothing. door switches, etc.

Have you messed/installed anything inside lately (radio, etc.)?

 

yes I installed a radio. but this was happening befor i did that. when i bought the car, the person had extremely poorly installed a radio. so i cleaned up the mess and replaced the radio. but like i said the lights were messed up befor i started. maybe the other radio installer did something. As usual, thats usually bad news. I have looked as best as i can and dont see any bare wires that couild be grounding out but still no luck.
