Axle/Gears: 3.42's

main igniton wire

Hey do you guys know where the main wire inside the car is that puts power down to the starter when you are starting the car? This will be on a 86z28. thanks in advance.

Transmission: Mother of All Manuals

Main power: direct from battery to starter. Wire from key goes to relay in starter.

So i am guessing that the main feed wire goes to the ignition switch on the column.

No, just the "signal" wire, the switched lead that tells the relay in the starter to kick over. The main power for the starter comes directly from the battery.
