Switch to HEI?
I have a stock 1990 Firebird Trans-Am, and I'm wondering how hard it would be to switch my ignition over to HEI. The reason i want to do this is becauseI GM HEI Cap, Rotor and Coil that i bought a long time ago. My current ignition has a remote coil.
I'm just wondering if its a matter of replacing the cap and remote coil, or replacing the entire distributor setup.

Are you sure its already HEI. What threw me off is the remote coil, the cap i have has the coil sitting ontop of it so it made me question wether i had HEI or not.
