impossible short!
ok well first off this short doesnt blow the fuse so it must be a small leak to ground? im guessing.. well heres the problem. when i turn on my parking lights (the first click on the light switch) i have all my park lights except my one driver side marker light. now the problem is, on my dash the driver side signal light is turned on constantly, with the signal light switch in the neutral postion. now when i check if there is power on the driver side marker light, i find that there is power on the postive and negitive side of the light socket! now if i take out the bulb that is in the signal/park light, the signal light on the dash turns off, (returns to normal operation) and the side marker light turns on, but dimly. ( and when checked there is only power on one side of the socket)
so it seems like when the signal light bulb is pluged in it somehow completes a positive circuit and jumpers power onto the negitive side of the driver side marker light and makes it not work.. but you would think that it would cause a dead short and blow the fuse but it doesnt!! any ideas????????????

The possibilities are:
- Poor ground at the side marker or turn signal lamp;
- Corrosion in either of those lamp sockets causing conductivity between the two circuits;
- A turn/park light bulb that has shorted internally between the filaments;
- A damaged socket which allows the lamp to be inserted incorrectly.
- Demons from the nether regions toying with your psychè.

you have a dead signal bulb somewhere... the arrow points to the side with the break in the line - so replace that marker light bulb, if that doesnt fix it, check the front for signal (brighter than the running light) and same in the back...
