tim here in vermont , owner of a 1985 ta , i baught some parts from TPIS a couple years ago , recently i have read some conflicting info on modifying or installing a modified MAF , can anyone give me any input on putting one of these modified units on a motor thats prett ywell stock , i did also add a pully set , airfoil and adjustable fule regulator and a cat back exhaust, i do get an engine light , last time i hooked a scan tool up to it it came back with a code pertaining to the MAF , is this becouse my motor is not modified enough to suport the increas in air flow??? please help with any info or ideas ,, i also have cut the air can and put in a high flow air filter...... any input would be great ,,, thanx again ,, also first time posting here so be patient with me lol thanx in advance to any replies ,,,,, ,tim
