How can I change a normally open or normally closed switch to the opposite with a relay? I am tring to get my low oil level light to work right. Car originally had a normally open switch and the lt1 has an normally closed switch.

 

Use the switch to operate the coil on a relay, then wire the logic through the N.C. contacts of the relay.
