timing
can i move my timing on my stock 306 carb if i can how many dergrees and adv. or retart
You can set timing about anywhere you want. What works best for you will depend on engine condition, modifications, the fuel you use, and driving style. IIRC, stock base timign is 0°. You can probably advance that 6° without too much trouble. You'll have to experiment for best performance, driveability, and mileage. If you're using any ethanol blended fuel, a few more degrees advance will likely help all those conditions.
