headlight problem
ok so here is my problem inside the steering colomn there is a plastic piece that broke and now the lever that controls the high beams will not work. im not going to pull apart the column to replace that plastic piece. so is there another way to wire in a switch so that the high beams work?

yah but you would have to take the column down from the dash and chop the harnnes if you knew what wires you were looking for then rig up a switch some how it would work but then you would be in just as much work as if you just switched the whole coloum for another if you could get a used one make sure you get the key or youll have to take it apart too and your at square 1. if i were you id get anoter colomn or if you had the parts fix your own some of the tools youll need you can buy and have or make your own if you have a welder or loan them from some stores...if it was me id fix it.
