Gas gauge broke ..... Help!!

Car: 1987 pontiac Trans Am
Engine: 1988 305 TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 2:73 ... I think
Gas gauge broke ..... Help!!
my gas gauge broke .... is there a external gauge that i can buy that hooks up to the original wirering?

Remove the gauge and measure the resistance between the sender wire and ground. It should be 90 ohms full and 0 ohms empty.
